May 2005's 7-0 thrashing at Highbury, coming just 3 days after we were assured of Champions League qualification for the first time, reminded all Everton fans (if we needed reminding) that when we're good, we're good and when we're bad, we're rotten.

And boy have we been rotten at times! We've had huge defeats to all manner of teams throughout our history, but we've also had plenty of glorious victories too.

The links below will take you to breakdowns of our best and our worst performances - and you can also see details of some of the high scoring draws we've been involved in.

Royle, Young, Reid, Sharp, Watson, Lyons, Ball, Jones, Southall, Hickson, Kendall, Latchford, Labone, Sagar, Ratcliffe, Dean
